Customize a t-shirt!

Diodonhystrix

I need to admit I like to customize t-shirts. But I had some problems with it recently. The point is I used what I had - plain paper for a printer and some scotch. Simple one color images turned out nicely, but with two-colored picture it wasn't that easy. After that I've tried to do a little bit more complicated image and came out with Baby Jesus t-shirt. But its edges were not that neat as I wanted them to be. So I asked Natasha to bring me some Freezer paper. And the result was even better than I expected! I feel the power!

Hand dying

Handdyedscarf

The scarf from above previously was of pale lilac color. It was ok, but surely didn't fit me. I remembered about Martha's hand dyed scarfs and decided to try. In fact I don't draw much these days. It's some kind of a break you need from time to time. And it's fun to do something new.

Me, you and everyone we know

Monorow

Amy Ng from Pikaland interviewed me for her blog. It's a little bit too much Russian I'm afraid, but, well, I really love all that cultural heritage.

These two - Hernán Paganini and Irana Douer- are from the opposite side of planet. Extremes meet, true indeed.

White relief

Embossing_students

My students were making some linocut and embossing today. Some of their embossing pictures turned out to be very nice. No wonder snow came after a while. One more workshop for tomorrow and I'll have some time to make a new linocut myself.
