Yesterday I came home to find a package in the mail from Little thing magazine. They sent me the 4th issue with my matreshka dolls inside. I was pleased to see Elin Jönsson and her clothing style several pages before as I read her blog regularly and feel like I nearly know her in person. Which is not true of course, but nice to think so.
Once I was lucky to grab this book illustrated by Hervé Coffinières. And sadly it's all I know. No links, no site, just random books pop up here and there in some online book stores.
Drawings are so witty, bold and overwhelming, that it gives me tones of inspiration each time I flick through. One more picture.

One of my New Year presents is from Natasha Mileshina. She made an appointment desk calendar. Well, probably it should be a tear-off one, but who would dare to tear such a beauty?
Also my fiends from Design-bureau "Shuka" made another best ever calendar full of outstanding typography and illustrations.
While I was traveling Shawn Eisenach sent me one of his Objective non Narrative zines. It's a monthly publication collecting sketches, ephremera, and notes generated through out the month. There are 50 copies of this zine, each has 26 b&w pages and one hand printed centerfold. Subscription is still available.
It is a shortened version of the white set (this time out of five dolls). It was my new year present for one special girl.
