Yesterday

Yesterday it was a loveliest day. We walked and talked and drank sider and ate some delicious food. Life is filled with simple pleasures.

These are works of our Graphic Design & Illustration course students.

Some of them are really outstanding. I hope we'll hear about them in the nearest future.
While we waiting, let me leave you for a while with amazing Russian illustrators and my friends Ivan Velichko, Anna Zhurko and their Design Bureau "Shuka".
By the way in Russian the word "shuka" means "pike". I can't say for sure, but I think they have in mind that big fish from Russian tales, who can speak and fulfill your wishes. All you need to say is "By the Pike’s command, and at my desire". Of course this'll work only if you win the Pike's favor.
I promised to share some of our students' works. So here they are.

In the new issue of Cafe Royal magazine you'll find new works of Craig Atkinson, Camilla Engman, 1911 and Gary Baseman. Excellent company!

I like to drink a cup of coffee in the middle between work and leisure just to recover my breath. It was a day of desperate busyness. We were assessing our students' portfolios. I'll try to show you some of the most interesting ones a little bit later.
I took the next shot because of beautiful blue. It's Moscow subway - palace for everybody.

The weather's so nice I want to sketch outside all day long. And I feel I need a vacation. My favorite two girls on vacation are Camilla Engman and Sandra Juto. Looking at their photos I feel much better.

Observation is my favorite pastime. The days I can see the singular coincidence between for example my dress and my cupcake's package make me happy. Needless to say about bigger coincidences that happen more often than I could imagine.

Usually tourist places are crowded and I try to run through as fast as possible. Though it's quite hard to ignore such a beauty.

Spent a lovely time reading "Varoom", drinking milkshake with strawberries, drawing Cyrillic letters. If only all days were like this!
Seems Beatrice Alemagna doesn't have a site. It's my personal tragedy. Thanks God, Sara Fanelli has!

My life gallops too fast these days. I had about half an hour to draw today and yesterday it was the same. Don't like that at all.

All the poplars are "in bloom" right now in Moscow. It looks almost like heavy snowfall.

It's my favorite time of the day, mostly because of long shadows and lighting-up time.

We have lovely sunny weather here at last! Luckily I need to go out to do my yoga classes. I'm going to have a cup of, well, something right after. It's the end of the week, hurray!
