Red Riding Hood

Pattern_ridinghood

Made Red Riding Hood pattern today just for my own pleasure. After two days of discussing students' projects and deadlines (two days a week I'm a tutor) it was really enjoyable to stay at home and draw something. Doesn't matter what.

I found this awesome guy long ago, then lost and now discovered again - Chiu Kwong Man. Inspiring.

A long story

Japanese_blog

It's Hayden's Skyscraper National Park songs lyrics. I illustrated the whole album and wrote all the lyrics by hand. I started it last year as far as I remember. After a long break (about several months) I decided to finish it. In fact I think nothing can be worse than a long-drawn project. Except an unfinished one.

Now I can see all the mistakes I made while I was drawing the first half of it and desperately want to redo all the work again.

Sunday

Jingerhouse

I've seen a giant mushroom in the middle of the street and an old woman who saw a flower stalk in a waste-bin and turn it upside down to see the flower (it was a white rose, somebody threw it away wrapped and fresh) and left it standing there like if a waste-bin was a vase. Also we found a wonderful place with the most delicious chebureks I've ever tasted.

Rainy

Hope you're having a good weekend too.

Leaving you with the wonderful works of Maya Bloch

Unfinished

Unfinished

Today is the forth or fifth rainy day without a break. Can't remember exactly. Soon I will feel myself like those characters of Márquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude.

Since it's almost impossible to start a new project these days, I decided to finish an old one. Rainy days are good for sorting things out.
