Palm Sunday

Verbochki_comics

When I was at school our teacher of literature was obsessed with Alexandr Blok's poetry. She asked us to recite his poetry in front of her and all the classmates, which was quite awkward for me, because poetry is much more intimate than prose. I learned to repeat around a dozen of Blok's poems by heart though. And still remember some of them. To illustrate his Palm Sunday felt like some kind of lucky circumstance. Bearing in mind that Christmas comics I made some time ago, I could say I'm on my way to become an Orthodox comics artist.
